Aqua Grabber was a singleplayer game in Club Penguin Rewritten that was created by Gary the Gadget Guy. It is was accessible through the Iceberg. In Aqua Grabber, the main objective was to collect treasure from the Clam Waters and the Soda Seas, which were two different modes of the game. Each mode of the game was split into different game types. Aqua Grabber was popular for yielding large amounts of coins in game; you were able to earn 4,700 coins upon completion of a level in the Soda Seas mode with all of the stamps.
In Aqua Grabber, you would guide a sub through either Clam Waters or Soda Seas to collect different types of treasures, depending on which game mode you choose. In Clam Waters, the objective was to collect all of the pearls and the main treasure (the grand pearl) which was located in the mouth of a giant clam. There was a rare treasure which is a black pearl hidden in a random clam that changed in every game play. On the other hand, in Soda Seas, the objective was to collect all of the cream soda barrels and the main treasure (the amethyst) which was guarded by a pufferfish. In this game mode, the rare treasure was the emerald, which was guarded by the crab.
There were different styles of game play. In compressed air mode, the objectives of each game mode remained the same. However, the sub moved faster and any damage to the sub resulted in the sub exploding. As a result, more care were required to complete the objective and the rate at which air leaks out of the sub was slower. In time trial, the aim was to complete the level in the fastest time possible. A timer at the bottom right corner would begin as soon as the game loaded which indicated the amount of time left to complete the objective.
