Coins for Change 2017 was a virtual charity event in Club Penguin Rewritten. It allowed penguins to donate their coins at various donation stationed around the island. The update occurred on December 13, 2017 before the Christmas Party 2017 started. You would get the Coins for Change 2017 Pin for donating.

Trivia
- It was Club Penguin Rewritten's first Coins for Change event.
- It was cancelled on December 10, 2017, however, it was brought back on December 12, 2017.
- It was confirmed on the Club Penguin Rewritten Twitter page which charities they'd be donating to: Lumos,[1] WWF,[2] and Make a Wish Foundation.[3]
- Over 66 million coins were donated.
