Color

Colors were items in Club Penguin Rewritten that when worn, would change the color of your penguin. When creating an account, the player got to pick one color for free. Further colors could be bought from the Penguin Style catalog for 20 coins each. Unlike other clothing items, they could not be removed from the Player Card. There were 20 released colors.

Some colors could only be worn by mascots or not be worn at all. This used to be true for Ocean Blue, a test color that was worn by Gary the Gadget Guy until it was made available to players.

History[]

The first 15 colors were released on February 11, 2017 with Closed Beta. They were Aqua, Black, Blue, Brown, Dark Green, Dark Purple, Green, Light Blue, Lime Green, Orange, Peach, Pink, Red, and Yellow. All of them, except Aqua, were available in the Penguin Style Feb'17 (Beta) catalog. Aqua was later added to the Penguin Style Feb'17 catalog.

Club Penguin Rewritten had its first ever Color Vote from June 27, 2017 to July 5, 2017. 3 Colors had been voted for. Maroon, Lavender, and a new color called Dark Red. Lavender won and was released in the Penguin Style Aug'17 catalog.

A new color, Arctic White, was released during the Christmas Party 2017. It could be found on day 25 of the Advent Calendar. It was later released in the Penguin Style Jan'18 catalog.

A new color, Arctic Blue, was released during the Christmas Party 2018. It could be found on day 25 of the Advent Calendar. It was later released in the Penguin Style Jan'19 catalog.

Maroon, which lost in the Color Vote in 2017, was finally released on May 27, 2021. It is obtainable through Rockhopper's Daily Treasure as a reward.

A new color, Arctic Pink was released during the Holiday Party 2021. It could be found on day 25 of the Holiday Calendar.
