Fashion Party

Not to be confused with the Fashion Show from 2019.

The Fashion Party was a party in Club Penguin Rewritten. It was announced in issue #149 of the Club Penguin Times. It began on March 19, 2020 and ended on March 26, 2020.

Fashion Contest[]

During the party, players could submit their outfit for voting at the Dock based on a given theme each day from the Fashion Party Catalog. Their submitted outfit would be sent to the judges and, if selected, shown on the What's New Blog the following day.

If selected, winners would receive the Fashion Contest Winner Background.

Trivia[]

At the time, the record for the highest number of players online concurrently was broken during this party with around 3,800 players online during the party's launch.
- The previous party to own this record was the Waddle On Party in March 2018.
- On November 9, 2020, staff member Moo confirmed that the record was broken once again later in 2020, with around 4,900 to 5,000 players online concurrently.^[8] The date of this occurrence is currently unknown, but is rumored to have been broken during the Soccer Mommy Concert in April 2020.^[9]
It was originally planned to be much bigger and would have included more custom rooms and a feature to show off your outfits.^[10]
The script ["parties20.fashion.voting_ui"] = "content/voting_ui.swf?contentVersion=" was discovered in the global crumbs files suggesting that players were originally going to vote for contestants during the Fashion Contest, but was scrapped for unknown reasons.
- The .swf file mentioned in the script does not exist.
Rockhopper made one visit during the party as he was docked from March 12 to March 26. However, he was not affiliated with the party.
