The Color Vote 2017 was a vote made to decide a possible new color for penguins to wear. The voting was held from June 28, 2017 to July 5, 2017, and was located at the Dock. The color choices were Lavender, Dark Red, and Maroon.
The winning color, Lavender, was announced on July 11, 2017 in the Club Penguin Times and was released in the August Penguin Style catalog.

Trivia[]
- This color vote was similar to the original Club Penguin color vote, that featured Maroon, Lavender, and Aqua.
- The Dark Red color is brand new to Club Penguin in general, and has only appeared in Club Penguin Rewritten.
- While Lavender won, Dark Red placed second, and Maroon placed third.
- There were 3 postcards which could be sent based on the Color Vote, which said to vote Lavender, Dark Red or Maroon.
