- It was the 15th Item of the Month.
- Dancing with this and the Flashlight or the Storm Lantern would make a special dance action.
- Similar items were the Ghost Costume and the Purple Ghost Costume.
- When waving, part of the Ghost Costume could be seen.
- It replaced the Octolegs' original ID of 6242.
- When the item was first released, it appeared as the Octolegs in-game. This was later fixed.
- Due a bug when the Sled Style released it became unavailable, it prompted the player to buy the Rainbow Checkered Shoes instead. This was fixed shortly before the release of the Penguin Style Nov'19.
