- It came in last place in the Color Vote 2017 against Lavender and Dark Red.
- It was slated to be in the original Club Penguin, but it lost to Aqua in the 2009 Color Vote.
- It was the only color that you could not select as a starting color when you created a penguin or purchase from the Penguin Style catalog.
- It was the third color to be first released outside of Penguin Style.
