The Mechanical Woodchopper is an invention seen in Herbert's Base. It was built by Herbert P. Bear to chop the Ski Lodge, so that he can build a fire and stop the penguins from making noise. However, Herbert was eating a seaweed pizza, and was not aware that the player is behind him. Therefore, he/she flips the switch to make the machine move backwards.
After eating the pizza, Herbert tells Klutzy to run on the wheel, which made the woodchopper move backwards. At the same time, the rock attached to a wooden lever smashed the ice. After several hits, the woodchopper sunk into the Outback Pond. Fortunately for Herbert and Klutzy, they managed to resurface as fast as possible.
