The Prehistoric Party was a party in Club Penguin Rewritten. It was officially announced on the What's New Blog on April 14, 2021. The party began on June 25 and concluded on July 4.

Gary also visited for the party, using the Time Trekker 3000 to travel to the prehistoric age.

Storyline[]

On May 17, 2021, Gary announced on the What's New Blog his latest invention - the Time Trekker 3000. He had been experimenting with time travel for a while and had been pleased with the results, telling readers that he will give more news soon.^[1] The construction for the party began on May 20, as the Time Trekker appeared in the Snow Forts.

On May 29, a massive meteor crash landed at the Dock without causing serious damage to its surroundings.

On June 25, penguins could finally use the Time Trekker and go back to the prehistoric age of Club Penguin Island.

Dinosaur Egg Hunt[]

When the player first logs in during the party, Gary will greet them and explain that his ancestor, Garug the Ugg Ugg, has discovered dinosaur eggs that are scattered across the prehistoric island. Each egg the player finds will allow them to transform into a different type of dinosaur. Finding all 12 eggs allows players to claim the T Rex Hoodie as a prize.

Trivia[]

It was originally set to occur in May 2021.
During the party, penguins could float at the Dock.
Trying to transform into a Grey Pteranodon will result in the player turning into a Red Pteranodon instead. This is because an archived version of the Grey Pteranodon could not be found.^[2]
