The Solar Laser' (also known as the High Frequency Infrared Reversion Laser or H.F.I.R.L.' for short) was a powerful weapon invented by Herbert P. Bear. It was built with the help of Gary the Gadget Guy while he was in Herbert's captivity.
The laser was based in Herbert HQ during Operation: Blackout, and was used by Herbert to suck out energy from the sun to cause a blackout in Club Penguin Island. This resulted in colder temperatures on the island in November 2017. The Elite Penguin Force, in response, destroyed the laser to put an end to the blackout.
